[Reuter’s Telegrams.] SYDNEY. August 30. The Hon. Alex, Campbell has been uppointed Postmaster-General*, vice the Hon. J. C. Brown, resigned. Graham Berry, who is now on a visit to this Colony, addressed a meeting last night at Plattsburg, near Newcastle. In the course of his speech he warmly advocated the policy of Protection for New* S. Wales. BRISBANE This day. The National Agricultural Society’s Show was opened yesterday by His Excellency the Governor.
