The 6 and 8-inch pipes, 1000 feet of which arrived yesterday by the Ringaroonia for the South Pacific Petroleum Company, are to be carted to the Oil Springs on Monday next. We congratulate the Company upon having so promptly secured these pipes, and trust that as they are upon thew principle recently inaugurated in Pensylvania, they will shortly not only come upon, but ultimately vomit oil.
By reference to our advertising columns it will be seen that the annual meeting of the Horticultural and Floricultural Society will take place on Tuesday evening next, at 7.30. A good attendance is requested.
