RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.—GISBORNE.
This Day. [Before Al. Price, Esq., R.M.] bank of new south wales v. j. r. hurrey’ Alr Brassey appeared for the defendant, and Air Ward for the plaintiff, who asked that the case might be adjourned for six weeks. The opposite side agreeing to this, His Worship granted the application, and the ease was adjourned till the 6th of October. GRAY V. DWYER. Air Nolan appeared for the plaintiff, Mr Brassey for the defendant. The defendant’s counsel applied that this case might stand adjourned till the Ist of September. The object was not only to summon witnesses, but also to put in a set-off. Air Nolan replied that he would not oppose the adjournment, but would agree to it on the usual terms, defendant paying the expenses incurred, viz., £2 Us. Granted.
