This Day. "Before M. Psrou, E»q., R.M.] CASNuN V. CtS-UKS. CtAtM £3, for a dishr,norod ordoi 1 glvsn on Bitt and Bonnett. After hearing the plaintiff, His Worship gave a verdict for the amount, with costs of the Court. DWYER V. D’OWXH. Claim £3 4s Bd. Mr Turton appeared for the plaintiff. The claim was for the recovery of the balance of money, on which the plaintiff had received the sum of £2 on account. The defence was that the chaff was unsaleable. The defendant had, however, paid £2 on account, and refused, when asked for the balance, to pay it on the ground that the chaff was unsaleable. The plaintiff offered to take back the balance of the chaff left on the defendant's hands, but this offer was refused. His Worship after hearing evidence, decided to give a verdict for the plaintiff with costs.
