VO THIS KDJTOI). Sib,—l wi.li to .ay i» few word, about the.o toll-gate, that tho Council are thinking about erecting, the one at Te Aral capocially. I think that any person that travel, that road should be paid instead of having to pay, tar the road from the Pipiwhakau Bush to Devery'a Hotel is one sea of mud and hole,. If the Council placed a boat and a few lifebuoy, on it instead of a toll it would be more to their credit. I wiih Mr Tutohen and Co, would just taken walk through that road and see how they would like to pay for it, end if they would net alter their tune when they got back lam a Dutchman.—l am, W.T. Gisborne, August 14,1833.
