ARRIVALS. AUGUST. 11th.—Manapouri, s.s., Captain Logan, from Auckland. Passengers :—Misses Croft (2), Messrs. W. Graham, Frazer, Brackenry, McKaig, 11. G. Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Tanner, Miss Nicholls, Mrs Seward and child DEPARTURES. JULY. 11th.—Manapouri, s.s., Captain Logan, for Southern Ports. Passengers : —Mrs Cresswell, Messrs Flood, Prentis, P. Barker, G. Wyllie, and Combs. The Mahinapua will sail for Tauranga and Auck'and about noon on Tuesday next, 15th inat. The last boat leaves the wharf at 12 o’clock sharp. The Rotorua will be up to-morrow from South. The Hero which left here on Thursday last for Auckland, arrived there last night at 10 o’clock. The Manapouri arrived from Gisborne at the Spit this morning at 7 o’clock. The Oreti arrived in the Bay sometime last night from Auckland. She leaves for Napier this afternoon. THE SAUCY HATE AFLOAT. Is formation was received in town to-day (says the Auckland “ Star ” of the 7th inst), that the schooner Saucy Kate was observed going into Mercury Bay on Saturday last, “all well.” The Saucy Kate, as we stated previously, was ashore’at Hicks’s Bay, and if the above news proves correct she must have been got off very recently. Mr D. Gouk has all hi® appliances for launching the vessel raidy for shipment to Hicks’s Bay, but, naturally, is quite satisfied that the vessel has been got afloat without further trouble.
