RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.—GISBORNE.
This Day. [Before M. Price, Esq., R.M.] DRUNKENNESS. Robert Crowther forfeited his bail, Hori Hapatu, for his third offence this year, and as there is a provision in the Act allowing the magistrate discretionary power, wm sent to gaol for seven days, James Ford was mulct in the sum of 10s and oosta, or in default to be imprisoned for 48 hours. This was all the business.
