[Reuter's Telegrams.] MELBOURNE. July 28. Per Merchant and Shipping and Underwriters’ Association. London, July 27th. Arrived : Ship Loch Linuhe from Port Chalmers, April 22nd. Doris Brodersen, from Lyttelton, March, 10th. Roman Empire, from Lyttleton, April 18th. SYDNEY, This Day. Arrived last evening: Union Company’s steamship Wakatipu, from Wellington. New Zealand Wheat is now quoted at 5s 2d ; JSew Zealand Oats at 3s 6d ; Maize, 5s 2d ; Sugar Company’s No. 1 pieces per ton, £35. An enquiry has been held tq ascertain the cause of the fire which occurred at the Hon. John Eales’ stables, at Maitland, on the 15th inst., and by which three racehorses were destroyed. The jury found that the fire was the work of incendiaries. No arrests, however, have yet been made. ADELAIDE, July 28. Wheat has advanced fid. per bushel, and is now very firm at 7s ; Flour has advanced 10s per ton —town brands, £l4 10s; country ditto, £l3 10s, freight.
