OUTBREAK AT NOUMEA.

[By Telegraph.] [FEB UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION], Auckland, this day. The Coptain of the schooner Telegraph, which arrived from Noumea to-day, reports an outbreak among the convicts. A number attempted to escape with a view of seizing one of the vessels in the harbor. Several were shot down by the military, and the outbreak quelled. The autoorities succeeded in keeping the matter out of the New Caledonian papers.
