FOOTBALL
A good game was played yesterday afternoon between several of the team, ably assisted by the Rev. J. Hill and about 20 All Comers. Berry kicked off about 4 o’clock, and after about an hour’s paly, during which very good form was shown by Chrisp (who ran and tackled capitally), Pere, Smith, Ballantyne, and Morgan for the All Comers ; and Cook, Bourne, and Barnes for the Team, The score stood in favour of the latter by a goal and two tries to nil.
Team.—Cook and Te Kani (backs), Hill, Berry, and Oatridge (half-backs), Bull, Bourne, Barnes, Jamieson, Parau, and Pavitt (forwards). AllComebs.—Morgan and Nolan (backs), M.
