KOHLER’S WAXWORKS.

This most interesting show which is highly spoken of by the press, will open this evening. The figures are said to be.life-like and faultlessly grouped, and give faithful representations of those who—to quote from an exchange— have rendered themselves either famous or infamous. The Kelly Gang as they appeared at Glenrowan are represented most faithfully ; the Empress Eugenie, the late Prince Imperial, Mr Parnell, the Australian Explorers Bourke, Wills, and King, as well as others of notability appear as if in propria persona. As to the music, we need only mention that the pianoforte soloist is Mr W. Hydes, and then the brothers Kohler*. Of Mr R. W. Kohler we need scarcely speak as his reputation is world-wide, and although we know somewhat less of Mr J. Kohler, we have learned that he is a thorough musician. The instrumentation, therefore, may be guaranteed. In addition to cornet duets, English Concertina solos, and in fact music from almost every conceivable instrument from the lately invented Ocarina to a kauri pine piano, is prominent, and knowing Mr Kohler as we do, we are assured that there will be no disappointment. That such a performance will meet with support there can be no doubt, and we strongly reoommend our readers to witness it for themselves in order that they may be able to endorse our opinion.
