(from uub own correspondents). London, June 23. Tn the House of Commons last night the Irish Repression Bill was again in Committee. In the course of the sitting the amendment proposed on behalf of the Liberals for making the clause in regard to aliens applicable to Great Britain as well as Ireland was after some discussion agreed to. In reply to an enquiry last night, Mr. Gladstone stated that the question of the control of the Suez Canal would not be considered by the Ambassadors at Stamboul. At tho wool sales yesterday, 8,500 bales were offered. The bidding was steady, but the demand was not active. Constantinople, June 24. The German and Austrian Ambassadors having received the necessary instruction from their Governments, the Conference on the Egyptian question has commenced its sittings.
