London, June 20. It was announced in the House of Commons that a Conference of Ambassadors of European Powers would meet at Stainboul on the 22d inst. to consider Egyptian affairs. Turkey will be unrepresented at the Conference.

The Sculling Race for the Sportsman Cup was won by Largan, Pearce second. Laycock did not complete the distance. Australians v. Yorkshire: Former were disposed of for 148. Murdoch, leg b, w, 97. Dilke stated in the House’of Commons that full reparation will be required from the Khedive for the recent outrages committed on British subjects in the recent riots at Alexandria. At the Wool Sale to-day the bidding steady, but demand not active. Melbourne, June 22. Henry Bryant, the Age informer, has been committed for trial on a charge of forging a cheque. Sydney, June 22. The Marine Board inquiry into the collision between the Arawata and Nymph on the 18th inst. has closed. The Board has found that the captain of the Arawata was to blame for navigating the harbor during the severe weather on the night of collision, but he is only reprimanded and admonished.
