Chief Post Office, Gisborne. For Napier, Wellington, and the South, al?o the Australasian Colonies, per Te Anau. on Friday, 2nd June, at 3 p.m. For Auckland, per Albion, on Saturday, 3rd June, at 7 p.m. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europg, Asia, Africa, America,West Indies via San Francisco, also, the Sandwich Islands, on Friday, 16th June, at 2.30 p.m. Money orders may be obtained, and letters registered until 2 p.m.. same day. The next inward European .Mail via San Francisco, is due at Gisborne, on Friday, 2nd June. A steamer of the Peninsular and Oriental line leaves Melbourne on the 20th June. Correspondence specially so addressed and prepaid the Brindisi rates of postage, viz., eightpence per half-ounce, will be forwarded by every opportunity. For Tologa Bay every Tuesday, at 3 p.m. For Te Mawhai, Aku Aku, Tuparoa, and A.vanui, every alternate Tuesday, at 3 p.m. For Makaruka, Waerenga-a-hika A Ormond, every Tuesday and Saturday, at 2 p.m. On and after the 7th of May, the Telegraph Office will only be opened once on Bunday, viz., from ten to half-past 10 a.m. Money orders should be obtained and letters registered one hour before the time of closing anv mail.
