COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
An ordinary and special meeting of the Cook County Council will be held on Thursday, 11th May, at 7 p.m., for the transaction of the following business : — 1. Consider and settle balance-sheet for year ended 31st March, 1882. 2. Cr Gannon’s motion re introduction of Rabbit Act. 3. Report of Committee on works, and frame estimates for ensuing year. 4. Final consideration of Mr Rees’s bill of costs for Rivers Act. 5. Report of Committee on Borough Council. Agree rent re gravel. 6. Notices of motion by Cr. Ferris. (I). That, a poll of ratepayers be taken on the question of ereeling toll gates on County roads. (2). That the penalty for delay in completing contracts be £5 per day. And other business that may be brought forward.
