ORMOND ROAD BOARD.
May Ist, 1882. Present : Mr P. Barrie (Chairman), Mr S. C. Caulton. The only business was opening of tenders for the foilowing works: —Clearing the Muhunga Creek ; making hand-rail across the same; Metalling the Mill Road; enlarging cutting leading to Tangi anga ; box culvert on by-road near school-house. The only applicants for tenders were as follows : —Metalling Mill Road, Mr J. M. Bidgood, £25, accepted. Enlarging culvert leading to Tangih.anga: Mr P. Monaghan, £6 (accepted) ; Mr Dover, £6 15s. No tenders were rendered for the other works.
