[From ocit owx Corre.-pondextsj. Auckland, March 29. Captain Webster, of the steamer Albion, was married to day to Miss Quick. The City of Sydney which left f< r San Francisco yesterday, was so crowded, that Mr A. Brogden, M.P., could not get a passage by her. Hokitika, March 29. Several more claims werr bottomed on payable gold at Woodstock rush. There are now eight or nine parties on payable gold, and about 300 miners on the field. The lust claim bottomed is that of Duncan and party, who obtained 15 grains of coarse gold from four dishes of wash. Carnick and party washed 3j loads on Saturday which yielded loz. 17dwts. with 5 feet 'of wash, rush assuming quite a busy appearance. Miners are generally well satisfied with prospects. Numbers of stores and shops are in course of erection on the ground.
