Larrikinism in Christchurch.
Thb Times strenuously advocates the application of the lash to roughs who commit such outrages as have recently occurred in Christchurch. The man Clements who had his jaw broken is still in a dangerous state, and indeed a rumor went about that he was dead, though this is not the case. There is a good deal of curiosity as to how the Bench will deal with his assailants when the case comes on, though it is not improbable that they wilt not be identified.
