London, March 20. In the House of Commons this afternoon Mr. Gladstone movedi the adjournment of the House from April 4th to April 17th for the usual Easter recess. The adjourned debate upon the Premier’s motion for the introduction of the cloture was resumed this afternoon is now proceeding. Accounts to hand from the disturbed districts in Ireland are causing grave apprehension. Agrarian outrages are again on the increase, and fresh cases of attacks with firearms and maiming cattle daily are reported to the police. Sir Henry Parkes, Premier of New South Wales, arrived here to-day from N< w York. March 21, The discussion in the House of Commons on the Premier’s motion for the adoption of a modified form of the cloture was continued to a late hour last night, and was at length further adjourned. In the course of the debate, Lord Hartington announced that the Government had definitely decided to make proposals for the cloture a Cabinet question, and to stand or fall by the result. Paris, March. 20. Telegrams to hand from Tunis report that the relations between the French and Italian residents in that country hare assumed a decidedly hostile phrase, and that constant affrajs are taking place in Tunis and other towns between tbe two classes. Melbourne, March 22. The English cricketeis leave for England to-day per Orient steamship Chimborazo. Sydney, March 21. Great distress is being experienced by the miners at Mount Brown diggings, on the borders of this colony, owing to the shortness of provisions and water. The New South Wales and South Australian Governments are now organising relief. The New South Wales Parliament has been further prorogued to tbe 23rd May.
