PORT OF POVERTY BAY. A rrivals. —December. 22— Gisborne, schooner, Captain Skinner, from Auckland via the coast, with 12,000 feet timber, J. R. Morgan ; 50 bales wool, New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency ; 5000 feet timber, J. Townley ; 15 tons coal, Kennedy and Bennett; 1 wool press, ommon and Co. 23— Oreti,-B.s-, Capt. Campbell Campbell, from Napier. Passengers:—Messrs Nolan, Co nmon, McLean, Barker (2). 23—Rotoiuahana, 6.8., Capt. Underwood, from Auckland. Passengers : —Miss Moll, Mfs Andrews, Rev. J. W. Sutherland, Messrs G. Wyllie, C. D. Berry, C. Dunlop, J. Maher, Bussell, Bishop, and Speed.
Tha schooner Gisborne, Captain J. Skinner, arrived in the Bay, from Auckland via the coast, on Thursday afternoon last, and entered the river at 6 o’clock, with full general cargo. She marie a smart passage from Xologa Bay of three hours.
