Intelligence is to hand from Tunis that certain Tunisian officials forcibly expelled the workmen of Mr Levy, a British subject, from his estate at Enfida, the ownership of which has tor a long time past been in dispute. After the removal of Mr Levy’s employes the Tunisians employed a number of French workmen in their places, and the latter are now in possession of the estate. Paris, Dec. 14. The French Ultramontane press have lately published articles in reference to the situation of the Papal See. The papers concur in stating that the Pope’s position has become unbearable, and that the question of His Holiness’s departure from Borne is now seriously mooted.
