Mr. Gannon at Makaraka.

Mr. Gannon addressed the electors at at Mr. White’s Hall, at Makaraka, on Monday evening, the 21st instant. About two hundred electors were present. Mr. W. C. Walsh was voted to the chair. The address lasted close on two hours and a-half. The candidate received a most attentive hearing throughout, and was met with repeated rounds of applause. A number of questions were put and satisfactorily answered.

Mr. Gannon received an unanimous vote of confidence, and met with every assurance from those present that they Would do all in their power to secure his return.

The proceedings were most enthusiastic throughout.
