Major Chas. Westrup and G. L. Sunderland Esq. are candidates for the Gisborne and Arai Ridings at the forthcoming elections of the County Council. Their addresses will be found in another column in this issue. We are glad to learn that Mr. Price, Gisborne’s respected R.M., is in improved health, his medical attendant having succeeded in easing the virulence of the pain from which he has been suffering. Mr. Price, however, is still confined to his bed, and it will be some days ere he can resume his duties.
