London, Sept. 19. The Great Powers have sent a collective note to the Porte demanding an early despatch of a Commission to Armenia to make provision for carrying out some necessary reforms in that country. THE IRISH LAND LEAGUE. The Irish Land League Convention in Dublin has closed its sittings. The whole tone of the Convention was violently antiEnglish. At the final sitting it was resolved to submit cases to the Irish Land Commission, to test the working of the Land Act; it was further decided to take measures to protect Irish industries. PRESIDENT GARFIELD’S RELAPSE. Washington, Sept 17. The latest bulletin from Long Branch reports that the President has suffered another relapse ; that symptoms of blood poisoning have set in, and the President’s condition is pronounced precarious.
