(from our own correspondents). Wairoa, Sept. 16th. The political campaign has commenced. A strong opposition is now organised here against McDonald, the leading residents being actively canvassed on behalf of Mr. Locke with most encouraging results, and an influential committee is being formed favorable to his return. Mr. McDonald will not receive the support here that he anticipates.
