GOVERNMENT LANDS.
A gross area of about 127,000 acres of land in the Auckland Provincial District, has recently been gazetted Wastelands of the Crown, and, consequently, under control of the Auckland Waste Lands Board. The following are in the Poverty Bay District Aorangi West, No. 1, containing 1759 rcres; Te Ngaere, 1425 acres j Papatipu, 19,363 acres • O te Rangiwhaiao,s3s acres; Paparoa, 2257 acres; Wharehapua No. 1,336 acres; Wharehapua No. 2, 418 acres; Wharehapua No. 3, 754 acres; Tuakau-Piranau No. 1, 5865 acres ; Tuakau block, atTokomaru, 8815 acres; Huiarua No. 1\ 7750 acres ; Tauwhareparae, 44,150 acres ; Mangatokerau, 5456 acres.
