TELEGRAMS.

(from oub own correspondents). New Plymouth, Aug. 26. Things are again assuming a disquieting appearance at Pungarehu, and the Constabulary are under orders to hold themselves in readiness for immediate action. The cause of this is that the Natives have resumed their obstructions by fencing Crown lands to seaward of the Native reserves. As the Natives are very persistent, and will not desist after receiving repeated warning, it is more than probable that the Constabulary will be called out to remove the trespassers.
