The Bazaar closed wifli tolerable success on Wednesday night, the concluding hours being occupied in the sale by auction of many of the unsold goods. The gross proceeds of the sale are about £lOO. The yearly contest between the Napier Footballers and our local “ ki.kists ” will p ohably take place at the end of the present month. The secretary of the Gisborne team has received a letter from his confrere in Napier, and in addition to the friendly sfiuggje we learn that our visiting friends w'i when here give an entertainment in aid of our club’s funds, and it is the intention, so we are informed, of our team to pay a similar comp iment t > the Napier folk when plaving the return match.
