Narrow Escape from Drowning.

Mb. Andrew Parks, a well-known Fisherman, had a mishap yesterday afternoon on the bar, which might "have ended fatally had not his danger been observed by the crew of the life boat, which was coming in from the steamer at the time. Parkes in a flat bottomed boat was going out in order to put down his Cray fish trawls, but a nasty sea struck bis boat, upsetting it, and it was with difficulty he maintained his hold of the craft in order to support himself. Luckily his dangerous position was noticed, and the life boat made towards him, and rescued him from his perilous position.
