Dunedin, May 10 The Coroner’s Jury on the tramway accident returned a verdict of manslaughter against the Conductor, who has been committed for trial. Bail is allowed, himself in £lOO and two sureties of £5O each. The Conductor (Hammer) is said to have turned the break the wrong way. Wellington, May 10. McMinn, Editor of the Manainatu Standard, has sworn fonr criminal informations for libel against the Editor of the Tinies, on Saturday. A cross information will be laid.
