At Buckland’s sale to-day, fodder was abundant; meadow hay;' 2s 6d to 2s 9d; oaten, 2s Id to 4s per cwt; chaff, 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; New Caledonia guano, 30s per ton. Horse stock was limited principally to inferior riding hacks, and realised from £4 to £1010s; good draught and weight carrying hacks are inquired for. The Chamber of Commerce and Auckland brokers have wired to London, stating that the “Haven ground” is owned and worked her. GOLDEN CROWN S OWNER & JOCKEY DISQUALIFIED. Golden Crown’s owner and jockey have been disqualified wherever the Auckland Racing Club Rules are in force. Ireland’s Tannery at Panmure is burned, value £15,000, total insurance £7,355 in the N. Z. Company, being about half of loss. It is said that Mr. Reeses trying to float a big company to take over Gisborne lands. The Free Lance is threatened with two libel actions, one by Mr. Rees, the by Mr. Hurst.
