Fire at Waerenga-a-hika.

WE are sorry to learn that Mr. James Knox has met with a loss by the burning down of his wool shed. This gentleman, through his strict attention to business, has successfully forged ahead, and being only insured for the small sum of £l5O, viz. £75 on the building and £75 on its contents, in the New Zealand Insurance Co., he is a considerable loser. The origin of the fire is not known, but it is thought that something beyond accident may yet be shown to have occasioned it. We trust that if intentional incendiarism can be, proven, the culprit will tn aft with the punishment he deserves. An enquiry is to be held.
