Auckland, December 1880. 852 Notice to Contractors. fJIENDERS are required for the construction of a Wooden Bridge over the TARUHERU RIVER at Gisborne. Maps and Plans, subject to an addition of a SWING, similar to that used in the Napier Bridge, can be now seen at the Office of Messrs. WINTER and HAIG, Engineers and Surveyors, Gisborne. Final Plans and Specifications will be ready for inspection not later than the 24th December. Tenders must be lodged at the Office of the Engineers not later than 4 o’clock on MONDAY, the 10th of January. A preference will be given to the consideration of all tenders which guarantee the completion of the Bridge before the 15th of APRIL.
