The town lands will comprise about two hundred acres, commencing about one hundred yards from the Government Buildings, Mercantile Houses, and business places of Gisborne, and will be connected therewith by a traffic bridge, now about to be constructed. The suburban lands will comprise about 2000 acres of flat lands immediately adjacent to the western and northern boundaries of the township of Gisborne, divided into suitable allotments.
