BUSINESS NOTICES.
AS the proprietor of this journal is effecting alterations with a view to the future carrying on of the business, he particularly requests the favor of an early settlement of outstanding accounts—especially the long-dated ones. Letters, and other communications (except advertisements) intended for insertion in the Standard must be addressed to the Editor; and, as a rule, forwarded not later than 10 o’clock on the morning preceding publication. Remittances, Orders, and Advertisements should be sent to the Manager. Advertisements (save under except tional circumstances) cannot be guaranteed insertion unless to hand by 5 o’clock in the everting next before issue; the number of insertions should be distinctly stated thereon or they will be continued until countermanded and charged for accordingly.
