COMMERCIAL
On Saturday last Mr. Hall sold at the Rangatira restaurant, Gladstone Road, household furniture, bedding, crockery &c., at satisfactory prices. There was a good attendance, and the bidding was very brisk. On Monday Air. Hall held a sale of horses, at Makaraka. There was an unusually large attendance and the bidding was remarkably spirited. Unbroken horses were sold at from £1 to £4; hacks from £3 os to £6; heavy draught horses, f *om £52 10s to £59; dry cows fetched from £3 10s to £4 sb.
