ORMOND SHOOTING RANGES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—As the shooting ranges at Ormond are situated too near the township, and at a place where rifle practice cannot always be carried on with safety, I would suggest that the authorities should select some locality farther removed from the village, and less dangerous than the present one. A few days ago a valuable horse was severely wounded by a bullet from one of the rifles of the Armed Constabulary practising at the ranges, and who knows how soon a more serious accident may occur if lhe shooting ground is not changed.—Yours, &c., A Resident. Ormond, 29th November, 1875.
