ROAD BOARD.

The Board inet as usual on Tuesday last.

In response to an offer made by Captain Bead, the Engineer submitted S plan of the proposed alteration and extension of frontage to Lowe-street and Bead’s quay. It appears-that several valuable buildings haver been erected on the portion sought to be purchased, aud the alterations would not interfere with, or lessen the present roadway. Instructions were given to the Secretary to make the following communications :— To Sub-Inspector Gudgeon calling for return of fees collected under the D.og Nuisance Act.
