Money*—The Building Society will receive tenders up to Monday next, for the loan of £l5O. Dissolution.—Messrs. Winter and Luttrell announce a dissolution of the partnership hitherto existing between them as dairy farmers, from the 21st June. Error.—We have been requested to draw attention to an important clerical error in Wi Pere’s remarks made at the Native meeting in the Freemasons’ Hall on Tuesday last, as supplied to the Herald in its last issue. The expression, ** we have always understood that our shares are equal,” should read, “ we have always understood that our shares are not equal.” The correction is made in our report to-day Festival of St. John.—The members of the Turanganui lodge of Freemasons m< t at High Twelve on Thursday last in their Lodge Hal], in commemoration of the Festival of St. John. After the usual formal business wan dismissed, the brethren mustered pretty strong in the refectory, and did honor to the occasion with the usual, timehonored observances. Medical Practitioner.—We learn, on reliable authority, that a telegram has been received in town from Dr. Francis Goold, now resident at Kaipara, announcing his intention of commencing the practice of his profession in Gisborne in the course of a week or two. The Gisborne lodge of Odd Fellows have,in connection with the assistance of some of the country settlers, guaranteed a sufficient inducement for Dr. Goold to take up his residence amongst us.
