Meat of all kinds is at famine prices. Tiie last auction here of bullocks realised £33 per carcase, or 55s to 70s per lOOlbs. Several of the butchers are closing their places temporarily, being unable to obtain supplies for customers. In Charleston ■the butchers shops have been closed for six weeks. - ■
