Mr. Buckland reports fat cattle selling at 27s 6d per lOOlbs.; steer calves, from 30s to 38s : heifer calves, 15s ; fat yearlings, 45s to 50s; fat ship-borne cattle, 30s to 32s 6d ; and Auckland fatted, 32s 6d to 37s 6d per lOOlbs. Wellington, April 24. Wholesale prices :—Potatoes, 4s lOd ; butter, V ■ eggs, 3s per doz. ; fowls, per pair, 3s 6d j4s ; Oamaru flour, £l3 10s ; Dunedin, £l3; Canterbury, £l2 to £l2 10s ; wheat scarce, at 3s 9d to 4s 3d ; milling none ; oats scarce, 5s to 5s 6d ; bran, none, It to Is 2d ; pollard, none, £6 to £6 10s ; hams easier, 9d to lOd per lb.; cheese, 6cl per lb. The Ben Ohou station, Upper Wait aki district, (Otago) has been sold to Mr. Ot tier, for £20,000.
