PETROLEUM COMPANY.
Report of proceedings at the meeting of the Provisional Directors of the Poverty Bay Petroleum and Kerosine Company (Limited), held at Gisborne on Saturday, J uno 14, 1873. The minutes of the preceeding meeting having been read and confirmed.
The Prospectus of the Company was read and adopted, and instructions were given to procure an official seal for the company. The Deed of Transfer which had been signed by Messrs. Cooper and Ross, was laid upon the table, and approved, and ordered to be registered. It was resolved that an order shall be sent to the agents in Melbourne, for the special boring gear used in America, which, it was stated, would probably cost about £130; and that they should be requested to communicate information regarding any eligible person as Manager for the Company. The meeting was then adjourned until Saturday next, the 21st inst., at 2 p.m.
