The sheep exhibited wore of particularly fine quality, there being thirtylive entries more than last year. Romney Marsh in the wool had no loss than Co entries; Bryant Bros, took first for ram under 18 months, as well as first and champion with Jumbo, for ram over 18 months; Mr 1L Cobb carried off the first prize for tivo ewes under Id months, while Mr G. Wheeler obtained first for five ewes over that age ; Mrs Wilds ranked first with two ewes under 1 s mouths, and Mr G. Wheeler took first prize and chain:lion for two ewes over 18 months; Mrs Willis was again first with one ewe under 18 months, Mr Co; b ranking tho same with one cue under that a<. e; Mr G Wheeler was first wiih two ewes with lambs at loot, in Shropshire Downs. Mes.srs A\ ilsou .Bros., with one exhibit', took first prize for rums against no less than eight animals shown by Mr E. J. placed first with five ewes under 18 niondis.
