ACCIDENT.
An accident occurred to a ballast engine and trucks at the railway station this afternoon. The ballast had been discharged at the station, and it appears that some of the gravel got on the line, for when a start for the pit was again made, the two front wheels of the engine left the rails. She was soon righted, however, and proceeded on her way.
