WEATHER REPORT.
(per press association.) WELLINGTON, This day. Weather forecast for 24 hours, from 9 a.m. to-day;— Wind—between northeast and north-west in both islands. Barometer-—falling within 10 hours at all places. Sea—heavy on western coast and between Casllepoint and Knikonra. Warnings for northerly gales with rain after 12 hours have been sent to all places. Synopsis of last 24 hours—Throughout the country the barometer has continued to rise slowly, generally with strong southerly winds, and at all places smith of Kaikonra and Westport the weather has been exceptionally cold.
