TWO MEN DROWNED IN WELLINGTON HARBOUR.

WELLINGTON, Dec 27.
A fatal boating accident occurred in the harbour late on Christmas night. Three young men named Harry Lee, James Walland, and Thomas Williams, left Ngauhauranga in a boat at 10 o’clock on that night on a fishing excursion. When oat a mile, one of the oarsmen missed a stroke, and this caused the boat to capsize. Williams clung to the overturned boat, but the others disappeared, and were drowned. William’s cries were heard from the shore, and a Norwegian named Freeman hastily constructed a raft wiih some planks and went in search. He was successful in rescuing Williams in a much exhausted condition. Both men drowned were unmarried; the fcoiies have not yet been recovered.
