WEST COAST MEAT AND PRODUCE EXPORT COMPANY.
The directors met on Saturday, and transacted a quantity of business. H was decided to complete the purchase of Mr Carey’s land; also to engage the services of Mr Adams, at present employed by the Orange Meat Preserving Company, N.S.W., as Working Manager, provided ho is competent to undertake the management of the Tinning Works. The directors purchased alarge quantity of timber in the estate of W. Handley, which they obtained cheap. The siases bought were those likely to be required for erecting yards, buildings, &c. Formal resolutions were passed, allotting shares with their respective numbers to each applicant. Copies of lire Memorandum of Association were fixed at Is, and the same charge will be made for transfer fee and share certificates. This was the principal business. Mr Coxon will leave Wellington for Patca to-morrow, but he will not be able to come further than Poxton. A meeting of directors has been called for Thursday morning to consult with Mr Coxon.
