NEW REFRIGERATING COMPANY
I have (writes the London correspondent of the New Zealand Times) been shown a prospectus of a new company called “ The New Zealand Ice and Refrigerating Company,” which it is proposed should have its headquarters at Port Lyttelton. The company, it is stated, has acquired (he patent rights of Messrs Siddeley and Mackay for making icc and freezing meat, as now in operation at the River Plate. Ir is said to be a sncccss, nnd a cheaper and better than Haslem’s and other patent refrigerating machines. It was in fud operation at the Fisheries Exhibition.
