Sea—heavy on both coasts north of Lyttelton and Hokitika. Warnings fur gales as above indicated and for heavy rain have been sent to all stations.; Synopsis of Inst 24 hoars—There has been a further fall of the barometer everywhere, and a harsh northeasterly pale at most places from Napier and New Plymouth southward to Lyttelton and Hokitika.
