KAKARAMEA SCHOOL.
Last weekjthe annual examination of the scholars attending the State School was held by Inspector, Fonlis. Although within the past six monlhsthe number on the roll has greatly-increased, the tender age of manyof the new .comers, prevented them from being, presented ip the standards. In Standard I,there: were 9 presented. Passed.* Charles Brodie, Alfred Hansen, Herbert Clover, Patrick O’Dea, Mary Burke,, Ellen Ludlam. Standard !Cl—-Eight presented, Passed'; Nelson Mcßae, Henry Clover, Willie McKenzie, > Emma Shears, Edith Brown, Esther Spicer. Standard , 111-—-Eight sented. 'Passed: John Williamson; Harry Ball, Charles Fairweather, Gertrude Burke, Jessie Williamson, Standard IV— Six presented. Passed: Walter Powdrill, Edward Delamore, Norah O’Shariessey, Christina Wilson,,,; Annie Williamson. Standard V—One presented. Passed : John Burke. Standard Yl—One presented; Passed: Ada Fanny Stanford. Parents are reminded that the Christinas vacation does not commence until the 21st of December.
